VII EUROPE+ASIA EVENT FORUM EFEA 2018 IN ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA
VII Europe+Asia Event Forum EFEA 2018 was held in St. Petersburg, Russia, from 17 to 20 January 2018. This first events industry forum in Russia has already become a traditional one with which every January event industry professionals start their business year in order to share experience, knowledge, contacts and impressions as well as identify trends for the next year. More than 500 industry experts from 20 regions of Russia and 15 countries of the world took part in the Forum. The Forum participants were given the great opportunity to meet with potential business partners and customers. The sessions and workshops were designed so that the participants could get familiar with the maximum of practical information, mastering specific tools for further application. EC EURDIQ project consortium members took part in the Forum, speaking at plenty of В sessions, sharing their experiences and reporting on the outcomes of tourist industry integration in Russia, Kyrgyzstan and the European Union. Qualifications Framework presentation was held at a meeting of the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by Elena Vasilieva from St Petersburg University (SPbU) and Daria Ostrovskaya from Exhibition Research Center R&C. The expert from FHM (Germany) Marianne Gevorsky spoke about the need to develop entrepreneurial competencies in the conceptualization of Human Resources in the Companies of the Future and Marina Guunare, BMA (Riga, Latvia) talked about new approaches to the formation of actual content for educational programmes in Emotional Marketing. In the end, the members of the consortium identified a range of potential partners for further interaction. They also agreed that, as long as rapid globalization takes place in the ever-changing world, creative economy, entrepreneurship and integration will contribute to disclosure of human creativity, forming a space of co-creation and being a source of innovation and competitiveness that are much needed for the EC EURDIQ project.
