SEMINAR AT THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC HELD WITH THE SUPPORT OF EURDIQ PROJECT
On February 15, 2018, with the support of the EC Erasmus + EURDIQ project, a seminar was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. As always, the city of Bishkek met the participants of the conference with special hospitality. The seminar concentrated its discussion on the issues of the Bologna reform, its systemic and integrated character. Besides, the participants noted that it should be borne in mind that the Bologna reforms went very unevenly not only across Europe but actually within a country and its educational system sectors - university and non-university, academically oriented and professionally oriented. In addition, they raised education quality issues, followed by the discussion on the development of professional qualifications system in Kyrgyzstan and Russia. All participants shared their experience on how to enhance the graduates' qualifications. Also, well-coordinated work of the project team was appreciated, as well as the innovative idea of developing online training programmes with universities in Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Europe.
